Quantum Cloud server auto-offline issue

As a Quantum Cloud user of Penny, very unhappy with the server timed offline feature, which can make QML training fail. I tried using nohup to keep it running in the background, but it failed. My need is for the server to never go offline until it quits of its own accord.

Hey @RX1!

Unfortunately, we need to have a limit on the time allocated per person. When you leave your session untouched for a certain amount of time, we assume that you’ve left your notebook open but don’t need it at the moment. Logging you out allows for a responsible use of resources. For your particular case, this indeed will cause problems. This is a case where it’s better to install pennylane locally. You can pip install pennylane and other packages you need. Sorry again for this, but unfortunately this is something we cannot change.
