distribution of entanglement between quantum devices

Please How can entanglement be distributed between quantum devices, and how can these be simulated on PennyLane?

Hi @Marwan_AIT_HADDOU ,

Welcome to the Forum!

Do you mean like in the context of teleportation where Alice and Bob have an entangled pair of qubits in different places?

From what I’ve seen most people use photonics. At Xanadu for example we use laser light to produce qubits, and then we use fiber optics to move those qubits around. We still consider our systems to be a single device even if it takes more than one rack.

In general the key is to remember that you need a quantum channel in order to transport your qubits.

If you want to learn more about quantum computing and quantum programming, I encourage you to check out the PennyLane Codebook. You can start with the Foundations of Quantum Computing learning path.

I hope this helps!
