I apologies if my initial question was a bit vague.
My goal right now is more foundational.
I would like to perform non-Gaussian operations (like the Kerr gate) within the PennyLane framework. This was previously possible using the pennylane-sf plugin, but Strawberry Fields seems to be no longer actively developed.
Since MrMustard is the newer, CV simulator, I was wondering if there are any plans for a direct plugin that would allow us to use it as a backend for these non-Gaussian simulations.
Any information you could share on this would be greatly appreciated.

Currently, there is no plugin available for non-Gaussian simulations. I’m unable to comment on the product roadmap or potential future integrations, so I don’t have further details to share on that front.
That being said, both PennyLane and MrMustard are open-source (Apache 2.0), so you’re welcome to use them individually or even develop a custom plugin if you’re interested!
