I’m a Machine Learning Engineer at Ideal, where I apply Natural Language Processing (NLP) methods to parse resumes and match candidates to job openings.

Previously, I was part of the worldwide scientific collaboration running the ATLAS experiment at CERN Large Hadron Collider, where in 2012 I participated in the historic discovery of a fundamental particle called the Higgs boson. I developed applications to solve problems in science using cutting-edge methods such as deep learning and Bayesian statistics.

I am also one of the founders the Quantum Computing working group at CERN. I developed a bias correction algorithm on quantum annealers, and I have a general interest in developing Quantum Machine Learning applications to real-life problems and Natural Language Understanding.
