I was following this youtube video - [(1) How to run a job on Borealis | Xanadu Cloud Tutorial - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9ws3WrOCJI) but I still got an error. I downloaded the whole program from here - [Borealis Quickstart — Strawberry Fields](https://strawberryfields.ai/photonics/demos/tutorial_borealis_quickstart.html) but still I got error. In the last line, it says something like this “The target specified for this job (borealis) is not online.”

What does this mean and how to rectify the code to get proper result.

Hi @sdeysocial, welcome to the Forum!

What this means is that Borealis is basically “turned off”.

If you go to [Xanadu Cloud](https://cloud.xanadu.ai/hardware) you can see the times when Borealis is turned on!
