How can 6 challenges of group 2 be solved in a minute only? ---

idk honestly. There are a lot of people doing it with AI I guess. It’s a shame. For example, I am 122 at the moment (with a coding level of codeforces performance of 2700). I hope people get banned asap so I can know my true positioning (and getting my certificate in top 100) ---

ya, missed the 2022 code camp lol, people struggle people discussed, and frankly I don’t think the code is large enough to detect the real cheater ---

Yeh! When I registered I hoped to secure in top 100. Time as a tie breaker is ruining the experience. I am no longer able to get time embrace the beauty of these challenges while solving or explore more ideas. For group 2 it was my best run and still got 123. One way I think they can fix it is, The officials should feed one of their challenges from each group into top AI models at max over multiple runs and take its best or second best solution as baseline and hide the code and that we try to break by reading papers and exploring creative ways. That way participants using AI can’t one shot and only the one with deep understanding has the creative capability to solve it or guide the AI if he is using one. At least then people will be using brain even with AI. It will be so rewarding!! ---

yes they can, there are ways to do it. I hope they do the scanning and do the bann soon. ---

same. Honestly with a valid competition this should be such a good contest. I’m afraid I will not participate next year if this issue still here. And indeed, if there is no scanning for tomorrow, as here in Spain will start at 2am, I will not do it as well (at least for trying to be in the top 100) and start doing it with passion and, as you said, doing it for the beauty of the problem ---

that will never happen a lot of teams will try justifying this year the entire hackathon was unfair with the rules even with the time zone ---

yes even for people in asia japan india it is very late also people cannot participate if they have exam medical appointments due to global clock and this cheating teams sit on the leaderboard ---

I prefer do not loose hope :). And there are time indicators to verify / WA-AC rate / coding style (is python so here is not much, but could be a good indication for not a cheater) / etc. I hope. ---

hehe sorry. WA (Wrong Answer) AC (Accepted) ratio. If there is people using AI, you can check the same types of WA so there could be a direct correlation of what was the ratio / problem, the time submitted and what WA happened. With that and a code style correlation, that’s a way to test out who did cheat. ---

even idk how is it possible to even find solutions in 5 minutes I was literally struggling ---

I do but because I do competitive programming (im a trainer at my uni). But for example in my case I had on group 1 an indentation error so via the AI correlation i’m safe (and i have a submission with a function called do\_stuff cause at that time i wasn’t smart enough to think about a good function name). In group 2 I did all in 1h and 20minutes which is a really good pace. But just for moving from 150 → 130 here ---
